Purplex Seminar at Glassex
Andrew Scott was one of the keynote speakers at this years
Glassex@Interbuild seminar programme at the NEC, Birmingham
and chose "selling your way out of recession" as the topic.
"In a
recession some companies cut back on sales and marketing.
This is a mistake. When your competitors cut back,
that's the time to invest and take market share" explains
Scott.
"It's
true that recession changes market dynamics. Market leaders
can lose their dominant position, relatively small companies
can come from apparently nowhere and capture large market
share. Those companies that drive forward now will come out
the winners as we come out of recession" concluded Scott.
